Phase 1: Approx 10 Weeks

Phase 2: 3 Weeks

Timeline

Users require real-time visibility and control over workflow execution to quickly detect failures and resolve issues. Without clear insights, troubleshooting becomes challenging, leading to delays and increased Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR).

Problem

Research

I started with interviewing power users—primarily Site Reliability Engineers and DevOps leads—to understand how they currently build and troubleshoot automation in high-pressure environments. Discovered that users often lacked confidence in their workflows due to limited visibility into execution status and poor error handling. Competitive research and usability audits revealed that most existing tools were either too rigid or too complex. These insights shaped our focus on flexibility, transparency, and in-the-moment feedback as core design principles.
